The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is an American and Canadian racing series that was born when the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) and Can-Am were merged in 2014.

Each year, competing teams visit some of the most prestigious circuits in North America, and in 2023 Algarve Pro Racing took the competitive step of entering a newly-formed team in the championship.

CrowdStrike Racing by APR started the season by taking part in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, a twice-around-the-clock endurance race at the famous Daytona International Speedway in Florida. The squad was in contention for the win for the entire race but was pipped to the line by just 0.016s – the closest finish in the race’s history – in what was a monumental debut.

Throughout the season, CrowdStrike Racing by APR performed strongly, winning the Centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and topping the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup. This came after accumulating three podiums and two victories, including one at Motul Petit Le Mans at the Road Atlanta circuit in Georgia.
